调查显示：只有半数毕业生找到工作

A new survey shows around half of the 12 million new graduates in China had found a job by mid April, the Beijing News reported.

北京消息报道，一项调查显示，即将毕业的1200万毕业生只有半数人找到工作。

Chinese job seeking website 51job.com said 52.11 percent of students graduating from colleges, universities and secondary vocational schools this year have found a job in companies, institutions, government authorities, or started their own business.

中国招聘网站51job.com说道，大专、本科和技术院校的毕业生中的52.11%将公司、科研机构、政府单位就职，其中也有学生要开始自主创业。

According to the survey, traditional job absorbing industries such as mechanical equipment and building materials are contracting, while the market in service industries is expanding. Talents in information technology are most needed.

根据调查，很多之前需要大量新人的传统行业，例如机械和建筑材料类行业正在缩小规模，而服务行业市场正在扩展。信息技术方面急需人才。

Shanghai is the most popular destination for new job seekers, followed by Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Beijing. Provincial capitals cities in central and western regions are also among the top choices for the new graduates.

除了深圳、广州和北京，上海也是很多毕业生就业找工作的绝佳选择之地。在中部和西部的省会城市也是毕业生就业的首选之地。

Education data consultation and evaluation institute MyCos said in their report that the average monthly income of the 2015 graduates is 4,978 yuan, or 764 US dollars.

Students in computer science and technology majors enjoy the highest income, while the employment rate of law majors is the lowest.

计算机科学与技术专业毕业生薪水最高，而法学专业毕业生就业率最低。

However, the result also shows though the law major’s employment rate is low, its monthly income after working for three years is among the top.

然而调查结果显示，虽然法学专业学生就业率低，但是法学学生毕业三年后薪水排名靠前。

Employers are also gradually changing their focus more towards those graduates from colleges other than China’s top schools. Many employers say they pay more attention on the internship and professional skills of the new graduates, rather than whether they graduated from elite universities.

招聘单位逐渐转变了重学历的态度，相比名牌大学毕业生，他们更青睐普通院校的毕业生。很多用人单位表示，他们更重视毕业生的实习经历和专业技能，而不是单纯看他们是否毕业于名牌大学。

More than half of graduates in 2015 intended to start business in the following three years, but only very few of them have transformed the plan into reality, and most of their initial capital comes from their family members.

2015年，超一半的毕业生计划在未来三年自主创业，但是很少有学生将计划华为实际，很多毕业生创业的启动资金来源于家庭。
