The baby was just over 1 year old. After it was thrown into the river, the baby’s grandfather immediately jumped into the water and tried to rescue it. However, the man failed to find his grandchild in time.
婴儿只有1岁左右。在孩子被扔入江中后，爷爷立即跳入江中救人，不过，并没能及时救回孙子。
After receiving a call describing the strange and tragic event, local police quickly organized a group of rescue divers to look for the baby. Divers searched the waters where the baby was last seen. However, as of the noon on July 14, the child had not yet been found.
在接到报案电话描述了这起奇怪又可悲的事件后，当地警方立即组织搜救，派潜水员到案发水域搜寻。然而，截至14日中午12时，还未发现小孩。
Police said the suspect, surnamed Yu, gave herself up about 30 minutes after she committed the crime. She is currently being detained on murder charges. The motive is still under investigation.
