Mike Card used a large digger to wreck the Audi A4 to “prove a point” after his daughter was spotted in the car with someone who was “not supposed to be there”.

Using the powerful piece of construction machinery, Card can be seen flipping the car onto its side and then back before tearing it apart.

It was uploaded by Card’s son Kaylor along with the caption: “Yep! When a dad has to prove a point! #DADDYNOTHAPPY”.

He then named who is believed to have been the boy in the car with his sister.

“Named and shamed… Brother Kaylor named boy his sister was fooling around with,” he wrote on Facebook.

Andrea Gibson wrote: “Must have done something real bad for daddy to destroy his own car and loose money.

Others praised Card for his handling of the situation, writing: “Sure was a pretty car but much respect toward Mike! Hilarious.”

Another comment suggests Card may have a notoriously short temper.

The family are from Hiawassee in Georgia and the now ruined red Audi initially belonged to Kaylor before being handed down to his younger sister Ashlyn.

The two-and-a-half minute video has been viewed over 20,000 times since being uploaded.
