A noodle restaurant owner in central China was beheaded during a quarrel with a customer over the price of his meal, a local newspaper reports.

据武汉当地新闻报道，一位顾客因对一顿饭的价格有争议与老板发生争吵，随后便将面馆老板的头颅砍下。

A 22-year-old man from Sichuan province was apprehended at the scene by police in Wuhan, Hubei province on Saturday, the Wuhan Evening News reported.

据悉，这位砍人男子22岁，来自四川省。该事件发生在上周六，砍人男子被武汉当地警方现场逮捕。

The suspect used a kitchen knife to cut off the owner’s head during a brawl. Police appealed to the public via their microblogging account not to distribute pictures of the dead victim on social media.

该男子手持菜刀在发生口角期间将老板头颅砍下。警方通过微博呼吁公众不要将受害人被害的现场照片在社交媒体上传播。

The suspect ordered three bowls of noodles but soon got into a heated argument with the restaurant owner, accusing him of overcharging one yuan per bowl. The two men then began to fight.

事情起因便是——这位男子在面馆点了三碗面，结账时控诉老板每碗面多要了自己一块钱，两人便发生口角，随后甚至动起手来。

According to police, the customer cut off the proprietor’s head and threw it into a rubbish bin nearby.

据警方透露，这位顾客砍下老板的头之后，便随手扔进旁边的垃圾箱内。

A friend of the owner told the newspaper that the 42-year-old victim had been living with his 13-year-old son since he divorced five years ago. He was an honest man and did not cheat customers, the friend said.

面馆老板的朋友接受采访时表示，这位老板今年42岁，五年前离了婚，独自抚养一个13岁的儿子。其朋友还提到，面馆老板为人诚实，不会欺骗顾客。
