习近平上海会见蒙古国总统

中国主席与蒙古国总统上海见面。

The presidents of China and Mongolia have met in Shanghai. Tsakhiagiin Elvegdorj is visiting the eastern Chinese financial hub to attend the CICA security summit. Xi Jinping hailed China’s friendship with Mongolia. He said China respects the sovereignty, security and territorial integrity of Mongolia and supports Mongolia’s developing in the way best suited to its conditions.

The presidents of China and Mongolia have met in Shanghai.

The two countries are marking 65 years of diplomatic ties with commemorative activities, and 2014 is the year of friendship and exchange. Xi Jinping called for close contact and promoting broad cooperation. He said China would like to encourage more Chinese enterprises to invest and develop in Mongolia and support Mongolia taking part in international and regional affairs. China also seeks to strengthen cooperation within the framework of the UN and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Elvegdorj hopes the two sides can work together to make ties a model in the region. He invited Xi Jinping to pay a state visit, and he wished the CICA summit success.
