Beijing police have detained a woman after she tried to ride the subway with a suitcase containing what appeared to be two guns, media reported on Monday.
据媒体在周一的报道，日前北京一女子用行李箱携带两把枪乘坐地铁，目前北京警方已经拘留了这名女子。
Zhao Siyu, an X-ray baggage scanner operator on duty at Gongzhufen Station’s security checkpoint, noticed two gun-shaped items in a black suitcase during a regular security check on July 13, Beijing Youth Daily reported.
据《北京青年报》报道，赵思宇（音）是北京公主坟站安检点的X光扫描仪当值人员，在7月13日一次常规检查中，他发现一只黑色行李箱中藏有两把枪支形状的物体。
Zhao immediately notified other station security staff by using code words, and they coordinated to divert the other passengers to go to different security checkpoints.
赵思宇立刻用暗号信息通知了站里的其他安保人员，他们协调乘客们转移到了其他安检点。
To avoid panicking the people in the queue, subway staff shut down the X-ray machine discreetly by saying it was malfunctioning, Beijing Youth Daily reported.
据《北京青年报》报道，为避免引起排队乘客的恐慌，地铁工作人员小心谨慎地关闭了X光扫描仪，告知乘客们说是发生了故障。
The woman refused to open the suitcase at first, claiming she had no idea what was inside.
起先这名女子拒绝打开行李箱，她表示说自己不知道里面装的是什么。
However, she then relented and an X-ray baggage scanner operator named Li Keyan opened the suitcase and confirmed that what was inside did appear to be guns and ammunition. Subway security staff then inspected the items, which turned out to be one 90-centimeter-long gun and one 15-centimeter-long gun and 50 rounds of ammunition.
但是她随后就放弃了坚持，一位名叫李克彦（音）的X光扫描仪操作人员打开了这个行李箱，确认里面装的的确是枪支和弹药。地铁安保人员随后又检查了这些物品，发现了一把90厘米长和一把15厘米长的枪，另有50发子弹。
The suitcase was then put in quarantine in the X-ray scanner while staff called the police. The female passenger, the suitcase and the suspected firearms are in police custody and an investigation is underway.
随后这个行李箱被放在X光扫描仪里隔离，地铁工作人员通知了警察。警方带走了这名女乘客、行李箱以及疑似枪支的物品，目前调查还在进行中。
Guns and other dangerous items are not allowed to be taken onto the Beijing subway. Under the gun administration law that took effect in 1996, only hunters and herders in designated hunting and pastoral zones can apply for permits to own firearms.

X-ray scanner operators can be fined up to 1,000 yuan ($151.41) for failing to identify contraband, qianlong.com reported.
据千龙网报道，如果X光扫描仪操作人员未能识别违禁物品的话，那么他最高可能受到1000元人民币（约合151.41美元）的罚款。
