英国人爱用的潮流俚语

流行的俚语总是随时在变。一些“老实巴交”、“默默无闻”的英文单词，说不定哪天摇身一变，变成了大家都爱用的潮流俚语了。

1. snatched 极好的（snatch本意是“抢走”）

You look snatched in the wedding dress!

你穿这件婚纱超赞！

2. cancel 任何不喜欢的东西都可以用这个词回复

"Would you like vegetables with dinner?"

"CANCEL!"

“晚餐吃蔬菜怎么样？”

“不好！”

3. budge up 挪一挪；让开

We had to budge up to let the fourth person in the back of the car.

我们挪了挪，好让第四个人坐到车后面来。

4. lit 漂亮，热辣，身材好（lit原本是light的过去分词）

That chick is lit!

那个妞真火辣！

5. high-key / low-key 高调的 / 低调的

I'm going out tonight but it's pretty low-key.

我今晚打算出去，不过没几个人知道。

6. have a flutter 下赌注（flutter本意是“煽动翅膀”）

Aunty Paula likes to have a bit of a flutter on the horses.

7. blimey （表示惊讶）哎呀，天哪

Blimey, what a lot of food!
